About Us

Big Hearts of Fox Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families in St. Charles School District 303 who are facing financial hardship. Since 2014, our mission has been simple: ensure every child feels seen, valued, and supported—both during the holidays and throughout the year.

Each year, we partner with D303 social workers, counselors, and staff to identify families in need and connect them with essential support. Our signature Christmas Gift Sponsorship Program provides holiday gifts to hundreds of local children, while our Santa’s Drive-Thru event gives families a joyful and dignified way to receive them.

Beyond Christmas, our year-round programs make sure families have access to everyday essentials. Through our Big Hearts Throughout the Year Program, we provide toiletries, cleaning supplies, clothing, and emergency items to help ease the strain on households experiencing financial challenges. We also supply backpacks and school essentials, winter gear, grocery gift cards, and more—always responding to the real needs of real D303 kids.

Big Hearts of Fox Valley is powered by volunteers, local businesses, generous donors, and strong partnerships within our community. Together, we make it possible for families to breathe a little easier and for children to feel the magic of being cared for.
